Instructors

Frank Romano is Professor Emeritus at the School of Print Media at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). During his 50-year career in the printing and publishing industries, he has written hundreds of articles and over 45 books, including the International Paper Pocket Pal. Frank is the editor of the 10,000-term Encyclopedia of Graphic Communications, the standard reference in the field. He lectures extensively, having addressed virtually every club, association, group and professional organization at one time or another. Frank is one of the industry's foremost keynote speakers. He's been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Times of London, USA Today, Business Week, Forbes, and many other newspapers and publications, as well as on TV and radio.

Steve Suffoletto is an independent printing industry consultant and trainer. He has over 35 years of industry experience, including 10 years working in print manufacturing production, quality assurance and management in commercial printing, folding carton packaging, and paperback book publication. He has consulted for the newspaper and flexography industry. For 13 years, Steve worked part-time for Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). While there, he was the senior training specialist for the Printing Applications Laboratory (PAL). Steve provides technical education and training for industry people to upgrade workforce skills.

Margie Dana is a former print buyer and founder of Print Buyers International and Boston Print Buyers. A dynamic public speaker with a wealth of experience, Margie provides clear, practical advice to people who purchase printing services and the professionals who serve them. She produces an annual conference for print buyers and graphic designers, hosts webinars and other events, and is currently the buyer columnist and blogger for Printing Impressions. Margie has written and published the popular Margie's Print Tips enewsletter every week since 1999.
